    12 Healthy Summer Salads
    A salad is a nutritional powerhouse and we need every bit of energy we can get to enjoy the limited summer days! These 12 Healthy Summer Salads are easy and quick to put together when needed or to make ahead of time with minimal preparation. During hectic summer days, it's nice to have one less thing to fret about when it comes to picnics, potlucks, and family gatherings. It is the perfect way to enjoy the assortments of produce that are in season, and add a splash of brightness to your table. The variety of crunchy, colorful, and fresh garden grown produce that is rich in nutrients and vitamins will have you covered. Especially to offset some of the rich and heavy summer meats sizzling on your grill a bit.

    A good salad is a yang to a main dish's yin. Salads are a must have in our family. Dinner is not complete without one next to the main dish, even for the children. So, if you haven’t tried any of these salads yet, be sure give them a try. They are so light and tasty, they'll make you come back for more of... yes, salad!
