I've been asked many times if I have a good coffee recipe. Yes, I do! This is the best tasting latte ever! Better than Starbucks! And very similar to Wake Up Call coffee shop. At least that's what my kids say... But seriously, this latte recipe makes a truly great tasting drink.
I haven't been a big fan of coffee, and rarely buy lattes at coffee shops unless I'm on a road trip. But now since I have the option to make incredible coffee at my home coffee shop, there hasn't been a need to do so.
I've used cold brewing method and this Barista Espresso machine to make lattes, but I'm sure your own will make the same great tasting cup of java when you add steamed, foamed milk and my favorite Vanilla Caramel Creamer. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 cup (254 ml) – organic whole milk
½ cup (123 ml) – espresso
Vanilla Caramel Coffee Creamer to taste
Instructions:
1. Brew espresso.
2. Steam the milk.
3. Add steamed milk to brewed espresso, then add creamer and enjoy!

Hot Vanilla Caramel Latte Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup whole milk
- ½ cup brewed espresso
- Vanilla Caramel Coffee creamer to taste
Instructions
- Brew espresso.
- Steam the milk.
- Then add steamed milk to the brewed espresso. Add creamer and Enjoy!
Notes
- Make sure to steam your milk until it is just the right temperature, around 150°F. This will give your latte a creamy and luxurious texture.
- Whole milk contains the right amount of fat to give your latte a rich and velvety texture. Skim or low-fat milk can make your latte watery.
- A good espresso is the foundation of a great latte. Investing in a quality espresso maker will make a big difference in the flavor of your drink.
- Instead of adding sugar, use Vanilla Caramel coffee creamer to sweeten your latte. It adds a delicious flavor and a creamy texture.
- Before you pour in your espresso and milk, preheat your cup with hot water. This will keep your latte at the perfect temperature for longer.
- The sweetness and crunch of biscotti are the perfect complement to a creamy latte. It's a classic Italian combination that never gets old.

Hi Valya. I wanted to ask what kind of coffee beans do you use? I have the same machine, I just haven’t found good coffee beans yet.
Valya of Valya's Taste of Home says
I buy organic coffee beans at Costco. Sent me an Instagram message I'll reply with a picture.

This coffee looks delicious! I have been eyeing the same espresso machine and still debating if I should splurge or not. How is the taste of this espresso machine vs a drip coffee maker? Is the machine easy to use, or is there a learning curve?

It's the best coffee maker I've ever owned. Super easy to use as well. There is a taste difference in coffee from dripping coffee maker (which I never liked) and this espresso. This coffee really tastes like it came from a real coffee shop. I don't regret a bit, worth every penny. Plus it saves us a lot of money, because I have 4 teenagers now who love to take coffee with them to school.
