Spring break is just around the corner and kids will need something to do, right? Give them a chance to be creative and give yourself a break. These Apple Peanut Butter Granola Snacks are a fun idea for kids. And a big plus in that they're healthy too. If you’re not a fan of peanut butter or allergic, you may substitute peanut butter with almond butter or Nutella and still get fantastic treats.
You may also top the snacks with other toppings such as: dried cranberries, any kind of nuts, raisins, shaved or drizzled chocolate, melted marshmallow and the list goes on. From my own experience, kids (including boys) love to spend time in the kitchen creating their own snacks, which is so great!
We shouldn’t waste opportunities to teach and connect with them. And it also helps keeps them away from electronics, which disrupts bonding and steals your kids. Have fun spending quality time with your kids in the kitchen, the heart of the house, where the most bonding takes place. Enjoy good times and good desserts!
