No Cook Raspberry Freezer Jam

July 11, 2014 By Valya of Valya's Taste of Home 10 Comments

No Cook Raspberry Freezer Jam

This homemade no cooking required raspberry jam is our family’s most favorite. One time at work my co-workers were taking about a jam that it’s so delicious and no cooking needed so I asked for the recipe.

This jam is truly breath taking. My kids love to top this jam on waffles for breakfast.  After the jam is made, it is ready to eat in just as little as two hours.

I make a lot of this kind of jam with different berry fruit, and then freeze it. This jam can stay in the freezer until you harvest new raspberries the next year. Just take one container out of the freezer the night before and its perfect to enjoy the next morning for breakfast.

Thing you will need:

4 cups – crushed raspberries
1 ½ – cups sugar
1 – packet Freezer Jam Fruit Pectin

4. Stir for three minutes.

Wow that is a lot of raspberries! I would be beside myself with joy if I had that many! I’ve never tried freezer jam but it sounds super easy and I am always on board for that!

That’s not all 🙂 Have more and more in the garden to harvest every other morning. Just made more of it this morning. Its good to freeze and stock for the winter. This jam has natural berry flavor to enjoy with pancakes or waffles any season of the year!

Hi Valya, wow…I have always wanted to plant raspberries & freeze for winter months. We picked ours at a local farm but it was sooo expensive! How did you start growing raspberries? Do you just get a shrub at Home Depot or a local nursery?

Blessings to you & your big beautiful family

You can get them at Home Depot or local nursery. The only thing you do know how the fruit tastes until harvest. I got my from one family in our church for free. They had to get rid of some shrubs. They multiply with each year to the point that you just throw some shrubs away to make the rows thinner. I will have to do that next coming spring. I have green house next to my raspberries and guess what, I already have one shrub in my green house. So that needs to get out of there. I didn’t want to do that now not to ruin my cucumber plants. So, just ask around people who you know, maybe they grow them and need to get rid of some shrubs in the spring. Thank you Alla, and Blessing to you too! 🙂

You mentioned doing this with other fruits – Have you had success with blueberries, mangoes, apples, or peaches? I would like to try this but my husband will not eat any fruit with seeds. This looks and sounds delicious Love your photos
