    Notes

    • Marinate the beef for at least 4 hours for the best flavor and tenderness. This allows the meat to soak up all the delicious flavors and become tender when grilled.
    • Soak wooden skewers in water for 15 minutes before threading the beef and vegetables. This prevents them from burning during grilling and also keeps them from splinter.
    • Cut the beef and vegetables into similar-sized pieces to ensure even cooking. This also makes the kabobs look more appealing and makes them easier to eat.
    • Preheat the grill before placing the kabobs on it. This helps to sear the meat and lock in the juices, keeping the beef moist and tender.
    • Cook the kabobs for about 15 minutes per side, or to your liking. We prefer meat well done. If you like meat rarer done, reduce the cooking time.
    • Serve the kabobs immediately for the best flavor and texture. Grilled Steak Kabobs are perfect for a summer cookout or a family dinner. Serve them with mashed potatoes and garlic breadsticks for a complete meal.

My favorite, and less-expensive, beef cut for grilled skewers is top sirloin.
