These Glazed Pumpkin Pecan Scones are soft, flaky, buttery, and bursting with cinnamon and pumpkin flavors. They are super simple to make but very delicious fall treat that is so much loved in my family.
The taste wouldn't be the same without the pumpkin spiced glaze. The glaze completes the beauty and the taste of these scrumptious scones. Oh, it's just impossible to describe the taste of these scones. You just have to try it for your self to know what I'm talking about.
These scones are not overly sweet and perfect for breakfast, brunch or mid-day coffee break on a chilly day. Or even as a dessert after dinner. Total win all-around! Enjoy!

How to Make Glazed Pumpkin Pecan Scones
Beat eggs with brown and regular sugar for a couple of minutes on high speed. Reduce mixing speed to low and add vanilla, half & half, pumpkin puree. Set aside until ready.
In a large bowl combine and stir together all dry ingredients: flour, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add the cold cubed butter. Using a pastry cutter (or fork), cut the butter into dry ingredients until the mixture is crumbly.
Combine wet ingredients, pecans, dry ingredients and gently fold everything together.
Transfer the batter from a bowl onto a floured working surface. Split the dough into two portions and knead each portion into balls.
Pat the dough into round 10” circle in diameter and ½” thick. Using the pizza cutter cut the dough circle into 8 equal triangles.
Place scones onto a pan lined with parchment paper. Repeat the same instruction with the second half of the dough.
Bake scones in a preheated oven to 350 F (180 C) for 25 minutes or until light golden-brown in color. Remove from the oven and let cool to warm temperature before dipping scones into the glaze.
Scones Glaze Instructions
While the scones are cooling prepare the glaze. Combine confectioners’ sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and half & half in a small bowl. Using a fork whisk everything together until combined.
Dip each scone in the glaze. Let the glaze dry completely before serving! Enjoy!
