    Aquarium Jell-O Dessert

    Another kid-friendly recipe for you to make alongside your kiddos is this Aquarium Jell-O Dessert. Its not only great fun to make, but fun to eat. Gummy fishes makes this aquarium look pretty realistic. The green liquorish represents seaweed and crispy rice cereal represents sand. The marshmallow and jellybeans represent different kinds of rock. Blue berry jello stands for the water. Have fun making it with your kids and enjoy!

    Ingredients you will need:

    2 (6 oz.) – Jell-O
    8 cups – water
    4 tbsp. – crispy rice cereal
    12 small – marshmallows
    20 pieces – jellybeans
    4 pieces – green apple liquorish
    12 pieces – Swedish fish
    4 (19 oz.) - glass or plastic cups

    Instructions:

    1. Prepare Jell-O to the package instructions. Let it cool completely. Place Jell-O into the fridge and let it set to almost complete.

    2. Slice green apple liquorish so it looks like seaweed, and then place it on the bottom of the glass. Sprinkle table spoon of crispy rice cereal onto the bottom of the glass, and then add marshmallow and jellybeans.

    3. Pour Jell-O very carefully one table spoon at the time until it covers the bottom of the decorations, and then pour it until it reaches ½ inch to the top. Place it into the fridge so the Jell-O can set completely.

    4. Insert fishes into the Jell-O, and then place it into the fridge to set completely. Enjoy!

      oh my gosh! these have got to be the funnest thing ever! they look so cool! I'll have to try this with my nephew and niece they would love it!

        Oh, kids have so much fun making them. The only thing that kids don't have patience for is the Jell-O to set faster. So I cool it in the sink filled with some cold water. Change the water couple of times to cool faster, and place jello into the fridge. 🙂
