This Lemon Pepper Baked Salmon delicacy is the softest and juiciest baked salmon I've ever had. It bursts with flavor and is absolutely scrumptious. You will have seconds for sure! We usually serve this salmon with mashed potatoes and gravy, as kids like it.

If you want to get a bit fancy, serve it with herbed rice, pasta, roast potatoes or salad. We tried it with our new potatoes grown in our garden and it tasted marvelous!
My kids are already really picky with fish, but when I make this lemon pepper baked salmon there is not a bit left out of it!
Surprise your family or guests with this amazing, flavorful salmon; it will be love at first bite. It's truly the most crave-able baked salmon ever! 😉
Table of Contents
Salmon - I like to use Wild Cut Salmon with skin on.
Mayonnaise - I used homemade mayonnaise. Store-bought will work as well.
Ketchup - My preference is to use good quality ketchup as it boosts the flavor in this recipe.
Garlic - Homegrown or organic for best results.
Lemon Pepper - Give so much flavor to the fish.
Sea Salt - Kosher salt works great as well

How to Make Lemon Pepper Baked Salmon
First things first, rinse salmon well (optional, I prefer to rinse all the residue off), let water drain off and then pat dry using a paper towel.
Mix all ingredients together (yes, right on top of the fish) and spread the mixture over entire salmon (you may mix it in a bowl and transfer it, if you wish, but this way ensures all of the ingredients make it on the fish. And saves you the extra dish to wash).

Finally, slice onion and lemon and lay the slices out throughout the salmon.

⏲️ Baking time
Bake salmon for 45 min at 375 F.
Remove from the oven. Let the salmon cool for 10 minutes before transferring onto a platter or serve on the baking pan.

Enjoy!

Leftover baked salmon can be refrigerated for a couple of days.
Leftover salmon can be added to salads, make tacos, served over homemade dark rye bread, etc...

Thank you Irina! It's requested at my house very often. I like to add a layer of shredded carrots on top of spices before onion and lemon rings. Another idea for you to try. 🙂
