The Tastiest  Burger Taco

– 1 lb. – grass-fed ground beef – ▢Salt and black pepper to taste – ▢12 slices – cheddar cheese – ▢6 small – corn or flour tortillas – ▢½ small – head of lettuce – ▢3 small - tomatoes – ▢½ small – red onion – ▢12 – pickle chips – ▢Ketchup or your favorite dressing or topping

Step 1

Form the patties by dividing one pound of ground beef into 6 equal pieces. Roll each piece between two layers of plastic wrap to make thin, larger patties. Cook the patties on the stovetop or grill them to your desired level of doneness. Season each side with sea salt and freshly cracked pepper.

Step 2

Towards the end of cooking, place your choice of cheese on top of each patty. Then, place a tortilla on top of the cheese and let it warm for about a minute.

Step 3

Remove the patties from cooking and immediately shape them into a taco shape by folding them in half. Let the meat rest for a few minutes. Place the taco-shaped patties on a taco stand or plate and top them with shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, pickles, onions, and your favorite sauce.
