Instructions
How to Make Caesar Salad
- Start by separating, rinsing, and patting dry with a paper towel for each Romaine lettuce leaf. I recommend removing the outer leaves to get to the crispier ones and then separating the leaves by cutting off the bottom inch of the base. Make sure to wash them completely before patting them dry to remove any grit and dirt.
- Next, cut Romaine lettuce and place it into a large glass bowl. Then cut in half rinsed (and dried) grape tomatoes and add to the bowl. Now add chopped green onions, sliced red onion, cooked, cooled and chopped bacon, and chicken strips.
- Tip: After I broil and remove bacon from the pan, I use the same pan with bacon oil to broil chicken strips for a few minutes. It tastes so much better! Next, add freshly grated Romano or Parmesan cheese to the salad.
- Finally, drizzle with Homemade Caesar dressing and toss the salad. Serve immediately!
