Finely chop chicken, bacon, and transfer into a medium bowl. Cut green onion and add to the bowl. Finally, add warm Homemade Alfredo Sauce and mix well.
Add a cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese, and mix it again.
Cut Baguette into about 1/3 inch thick slices.
Spread a heaping tablespoon spoon of chicken bacon mix onto each slice of bread and lay them out onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (for easy cleanup).
Sprinkle each canapé with a pinch more of freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 25 minutes at 350 F (180 C).
Cool for 5 - 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Preferably, use pre-cooked and seasoned chicken. Use homemade or high-quality store-bought Alfredo sauce for the best flavor.
When chopping, aim for small, uniform pieces of chicken and bacon. This will make your canapés easier to eat and ensure that each bite is packed with all the delicious flavors.
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese is a must. It has a superior flavor and texture compared to pre-grated cheese, and it will melt beautifully on your canapés.
Don't assemble your canapés too far in advance. The bread can become soggy if it sits for too long before baking.
Cool the canapés for a few minutes after baking. This allows the cheese to set and makes them easier to handle.
