The Tastiest  Bacon Cheeseburger

Ingredients

– 1 lb. ground beef – 6 hamburger buns – 6 slices of American cheese – 6 slices of cooked bacon – 1 small onion, sliced – 1 tbsp. olive oil – 1 tsp. salt – 1 tsp. black pepper – 1 tsp. garlic powder – 1 tsp. onion powder – 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce – Ketchup and mustard for serving – Lettuce, tomato, and pickles for serving (optional)

Step 1

Preheat a grill or a frying pan on medium-high heat. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well until combined.

Divide the beef mixture into 6 equal parts and shape them into patties. Place the patties on the preheated grill or frying pan and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your liking.

While the burgers are cooking, heat the olive oil in a separate pan over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and sauté for 3-4 minutes or until they are soft and translucent.

Once the burgers are cooked, top each patty with a slice of American cheese and let it melt for 1-2 minutes. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly browned.

Assemble the burgers by placing a patty with melted cheese on the bottom half of each bun. Add a slice of bacon, sautéed onions, and any other toppings of your choice, such as lettuce, tomato, or pickles. Drizzle ketchup and mustard on top if desired.
