Tastiest Homemade Mushroom Gravy

This is seriously the tastiest mushroom gravy recipe and is packed with flavor using pantry-staple ingredients for a versatile sauce that goes with everything!

Ingredients

– 2 tbsp. - unsalted grass-fed butter – ▢½ cup - organic all-purpose flour – ▢8 cups – water – ▢20 oz. – mushrooms – ▢1 medium – organic yellow onion – ▢2 large - homegrown garlic cloves – ▢2 medium – organic carrots (or homegrown) – ▢1 tsp. – Vegeta – ▢2 tbsp. – organic ketchup – ▢½ cup – heavy whipping cream – ▢2 tsp. – sea salt or to taste – ▢¼ tsp. – black ground pepper or to taste – ▢1 tbsp. – chicken bouillon – ▢2 tbsp. - fresh dill or parsley – ▢4 - dry organic bay leaves

Step 1

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture, stirring occasionally. This will take about 10 minutes.
