Super Easy Easter Egg Oreo Truffles

These Easter Egg Oreo Truffles are not only adorable, but they're also super easy to make using panty staple ingredients! It's so easy, even kids can make them!

– 8 oz. – softened cream cheese – ▢42 – Oreo Peep (or vanilla) cookies – ▢½ lb. – white chocolate melts – ▢¼ lb. - of each desired color of chocolate melts – ▢Easter sprinkles – ▢Mini cupcake liners

Step 1

Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a ziplock bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies with cream cheese and mix well until fully combined. Form the mixture into egg-shaped balls using your hands or a cookie scoop.

Step 3

Place the Oreo egg truffles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and chill them in the refrigerator for at least 15-20 minutes.

Step 4

Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 15 seconds until fully melted and smooth.

Use a fork to dip each Oreo egg truffle into the melted chocolate, fully coating it, and tapping the fork on the edge of the bowl to remove any excess chocolate.

Step 6

Place the chocolate-coated truffles back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle any desired decorations on top of them. Chill the truffles in the refrigerator until the chocolate hardens, for approximately 10-15 minutes.
