Easy Homemade Chow Mein Noodles

Ingredients

– 2 – 6 oz. – chow mein Chuka Soba noodles – ▢16 oz. – shredded green cabbage – ▢1 large – organic carrot – ▢½ medium – organic yellow onion – ▢2 large – garlic cloves – ▢1 cup – fresh or frozen green peas – ▢¼ tsp. – ground black pepper – ▢¼ tsp. – red pepper flakes – ▢½ tsp. Mrs. Dash seasoning – ▢1 tbsp. – brown sugar – ▢⅓ – ½ cup – reduced sodium organic soy sauce – ▢2 tbsp. – olive oil (flax, vegetable, or coconut oil will work) – ▢1 tsp. – toasted sesame oil

Step 1

Rinse and shred cabbage, peel and slice carrots, chop onion, and mince garlic.

Step 2

Cook chow mein noodles according to package instructions, drain, and toss with toasted sesame oil.

Step 3

Heat oil in a large skillet or wok, add garlic, onion, and carrots. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.

Step 4

Add cabbage, peas, pepper, pepper flakes, Mrs. Dash, brown sugar, and soy sauce. Stir-fry for another minute.

Step 5

Add cooked noodles to the skillet, toss and stir everything together for about a minute. Serve hot. Enjoy!
