Creamy Garlic Chicken Pasta

This Garlic Chicken Pasta features a creamy garlic sauce with parmesan cheese and chicken strips that are tossed together with pasta for the most perfect combo!

Ingredients

– 2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces – 1 lb. penne pasta – 6 cloves garlic, minced – 2 cups heavy cream – 1 cup chicken broth – 1 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded – 2 tbsp. olive oil – 2 tbsp. butter – 1 tsp. Italian seasoning – 1 tsp. salt – 1/2 tsp. black pepper – Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Step 1

Cook the pasta according to the package directions, drain and set aside.

Step 2

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown, stirring occasionally. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Step 3

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.

Step 4

Pour in the chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the skillet to deglaze it. Add heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to medium-low.

Step 5

Add the Parmesan cheese and whisk until melted and smooth. Add the cooked chicken and pasta to the skillet and stir until everything is coated in the sauce.

Step 6

Cook on low heat for about 5-10 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the back of a spoon. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
