Turkey Sandwich
This Turkey Sandwich Recipe is one of our favorite sandwiches and is loaded with vegetables! Plus, you can make it with Thanksgiving leftovers or turkey deli!

Ingredients

bread

turkey slices

cheese

tbsp.
mayonnaise
or ranch
2
leaf lettuce
2
slices
tomato

slices
cucumber
salt
to taste

Instructions
Thoroughly rinse the lettuce, tomato, and cucumber, then pat them dry with paper towels.
Using a sharp knife, slice the vegetables evenly.
Toast the bread, then spread mayonnaise or ranch on one slice. Place the cheese slices on the other slice of bread.
Layer the lettuce on the mayonnaise side and the sliced turkey on the cheese side.
Top the lettuce with tomato slices and the turkey with cucumber slices.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Press both halves of the sandwich together and secure with wooden picks if desired.
Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately.
Notes
Pat the vegetables dry after rinsing to keep the sandwich from getting soggy.
Toast the bread lightly for a crisp texture that holds up well with the fillings.
Slice the tomato and cucumber evenly so every bite has a balanced flavor and crunch.
