How to Make Italian Pinwheels
Begin first by gathering all the ingredients. These include cream cheese, parmesan cheese, Italian pasta sauce, roasted red peppers, banana peppers, tortillas, provolone cheese (or your preferred cheese), salami, pepperoni, and leaf lettuce.
In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese, parmesan cheese, Italian pasta sauce, roasted red peppers, and banana peppers. Mix them well until they are thoroughly combined.
Take a tortilla and spread a couple of tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture onto it. Make sure that the cream cheese mixture is evenly spread across the entire tortilla.
Next, place a layer of provolone cheese (or your preferred cheese) on top of the cream cheese mixture. Make sure that the cheese is evenly distributed over the tortilla.
After that, add a layer of salami and pepperoni on top of the cheese. You can adjust the amount of salami and pepperoni based on your preference.
To complete the pinwheels, prepare to add a layer of leaf lettuce on top of the salami and pepperoni. Make sure that you place the lettuce leaves in a way that covers the entire tortilla.
Once all the ingredients are stacked on the tortilla, tightly roll it up. Make sure that the filling is secure inside the tortilla.
To set the pinwheels, refrigerate them for a few hours. This will allow the cream cheese mixture to firm up and hold the pinwheels together.
Once the pinwheels have chilled, remove them from the fridge and slice them into individual pieces. You can cut them into bite-sized portions or larger slices, depending on your preference.
