Peel and wash each cob. Place corn on the cob into a large pot and fill with water ¾ of a pot.
Place the pot on top of the stove and bring it to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and let it boil for 25 (the longer you boil the corn on the cob the drier the corn will be, so you can adjust cooking time to how you like your corn to be).
Drain the water.
Sat aside and let it cool for 15 minutes before serving (if you serving kids, cool a little longer for about 30 minutes, as the corn will still be pretty warm). We like the corn plain (with no butter or extra salt added).
