Ingredients
Prepare the chicken and vegetables: Trim the fat from the chicken and cut it into one-inch pieces. Rinse and drain the chicken. Wash the peppers, cut them into square pieces. Peel and cut the onion into square pieces. Place everything in a large bowl and sprinkle with the prepared seasoning. Add BBQ sauce and mix well. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the fridge for at least 6 hours.
Skewer the chicken and vegetables: Thread the chicken and vegetables onto metal skewers, leaving a small space between each piece. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before threading to prevent burning.
Grill the skewers: Preheat your BBQ to medium-high heat. Reduce the heat to low and place the skewers on the grill. Grill the chicken for 15 minutes, then flip them over. Brush the skewers with more BBQ sauce and grill for an additional 15 minutes. Flip them over again, brush with BBQ sauce, and grill for 10-15 more minutes, or until the meat is cooked through.
