Ingredients

For the Dough: – ▢5 large – egg yolks – ▢½ cup – sour cream – ▢4 oz. - butter – ▢1 tsp. - baking soda – ▢2 tsp. – vinegar – ▢2 cups – all-purpose flour For the Filling: – ▢I like to use home frozen cherries. You may use anything you like; chocolate chips, raisins, cranberries, blueberries, frozen or dried fruit, etc. For the Chocolate Dipping: – ▢I use the chocolate ganache recipe For the Wafer Coating: – ▢1 pack – colorful circular wafers (available at any European Stores) – ▢½ pack – strawberry flavored wafers – ▢½ pack – vanilla flavored wafers – ▢½ pack – lemon or orange flavored wafers – ▢4 - gallon size – Ziploc bags

Step 1

Hard-boil 5 large eggs.

Step 2

Prepare wafers for coating by crushing them separately with a rolling pin or using a food processor.

Step 3

Remove the yolks from the hard-boiled eggs and mash them with sour cream until smooth.

Step 4

Add softened butter and beat until well combined.

Step 5

Mix baking soda and vinegar, then add it to the butter mixture and beat until smooth.

Step 6

Gradually add flour to form a smooth and soft dough.

Step 7

Shape the dough into bite-size balls and flatten them.

Step 8

Fill the center of each ball with the desired filling and seal them.

Step 9

Bake the balls in a preheated oven at 350 F for 20-25 minutes until light golden brown.

Step 10

Prepare the chocolate ganache coating and dip the cooled balls in it.

Step 11

Coat the dipped balls with crushed wafers and let them dry on a wire rack.
