Arrow

Prep Time: 5 Min

Cook Time: 5 Min

Ingredients

– ½ cup - water – ▢6 tbsp. - brown sugar – ▢2 tbsp. - cornstarch – ▢½ tsp. - ground fresh ginger – ▢½ tsp. - ground or minced garlic clove – ▢½ cup - reduced sodium soy sauce – ▢¼ cup - organic apple cider vinegar – ▢2 tbsp. - raw honey

Step 1

Start by mincing ginger and garlic. Set them aside until ready to use.

Step 2

Measure out all the ingredients required for the glaze and pour them into a small pot.

Step 3

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly to ensure all the ingredients are well combined.

Step 4

Once the glaze reaches a boil, turn off the heat and let it simmer for one minute. If you are using a gas stove burner, reduce the heat to very low and let it simmer for a minute.

Step 5

Place a strainer over a glass bowl and carefully strain the hot glaze into the bowl. Straining while the glaze is hot will ensure a smooth and even consistency. Allow the glaze to cool before using it to glaze the meat of your choice.
