Cabbage Carrots and Peppers Salad

This Cabbage Carrots and Peppers Salad recipe is not one of those salads that you really taste the sharpness of fresh vegetables.


– 1 medium – organic cabbage head – ▢4 small – organic carrots – ▢1 - organic red bell pepper – ▢1 – organic yellow bell pepper – ▢4 cups (946 ml) - water – ▢3 tbsp. – sea salt – ▢½ cup (64 g) – sugar – ▢¾ cup (177 ml) – vinegar – ▢½ cup (118 ml) - extra virgin Olive oil – ▢3 - bay leaves – ▢1 tsp. – peppercorns

Step 1

Shred the cabbage using a sharp knife or a mandoline slicer. Peel and grate the carrots using a box grater or a food processor. Thinly slice the bell peppers into strips.

In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, grated carrots, and sliced bell peppers. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the dressing ingredients, such as olive oil, vinegar, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
