Easy Butternut Squash Recipe (Roasted to Perfection!)
This easy butternut squash recipe features delicious, tender pieces of butternut squash roasted to perfection! It's the perfect side for fall and any holiday.
This is an incredibly easy recipe that you can make in the simplest of steps. Here's what you need to do to make roasted butternut squash at home:
Start by preheating the oven to 400 F (200 C). Rinse the squash and dry it with a paper towel.
Peel and remove the seeds. The easiest way to peel your butternut squash is to use a vegetable peeler.
Slice through and cube the squash into ½ inch pieces to 1-inch cubes and add them into a bowl.
Next, sprinkle with seasoning: sea salt, Mrs. Dash seasoning, and black ground pepper. Drizzle olive oil over seasoned squash and toss to coat.
Arrange squash on a baking sheet lined with a baking mat (preferred to prevent the squash from drying out), and roast in the preheated oven to 400 F (200 C) for 20 minutes or until squash is tender and lightly browned.
Cool and serve warm or cold in salads. You're going to absolutely love it!
