1lb.454 g – organic pasta
1lb.454 g – mozzarella cheese
1tbsp.30 g – unsalted butter
1cup250 ml – heavy cream
1jar650 g – pasta sauce
1cup225 g – cottage cheese
Salt to tasteI used 1 tbsp. to cook pasta and 1 tsp. <g class="gr_ gr_124 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_run_anim Grammar multiReplace" id="124" data-gr-id="124">to</g> sauce
Cook pasta according to package instructions. (I boil it 5 minutes longer as we like our pasta a little more tender) Turn on a burner to medium heat. Melt butter in a large heated skillet. Add cooked pasta and coat it with the melted butter by stirring it several times.
Add heavy cream and marinara sauce. Mix it into the pasta well. Heat the sauce and pasta about 1 minute, then add cottage cheese. Mix in cottage cheese with pasta and let pasta heat through well for about another 2 minutes, string it occasionally.
Turn the heat off. Add shredded mozzarella cheese. Cover the pan with a lid and allow the cheese to melt. Serve as soon as the cheese is melted.
