When it comes to main dishes, you absolutely cannot go wrong with meatballs. Especially among the little crowd; they go bonkers over them. These meatballs are quick and easy to make and are very kid friendly. Once you’ve mixed the meat, have them form the meatballs and they will have a blast. Especially when it comes to eating them and usually don’t leave leftovers.

2lbs.900 g – ground beef (see how to grind meat at home the clean way HERE)
1lb.450 g – ground turkey breast
½medium – onion
1small – garlic clove
1tsp.5 ml – sea salt
1tsp.5 ml – Italian seasoning
½tsp.2.5 ml – Paprika
¼tsp.0.25 ml – black ground pepper
1large - egg
Olive oilfor greasing hands
Grind meat (see instructions HERE)
Preheat oven to 375 F (190 C). Grate garlic and ½ of an onion. Add the rest of the ingredients: sea salt, Italian seasoning, paprika, and black ground pepper. Mix well with a hand mix for 2 minutes, or until all combined.
Dip a few fingers into olive oil, then use it to grease your palms. Scoop meat with an ice-cream scooper and roll it into a 1-and-a-half-inch ball, in diameter, between greased palms.
Lay them out onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Bake meatballs for 20 minutes at 375 F (190 C), and then broil them for 3 minutes. (Broiling will burn or discolor parchment paper a little, and that's OK. Just keep an eye on it during this step.)
Remove from the oven, transfer meatballs over pasta or serve as an appetizer.
