Chicken Bacon Alfredo Canapés Appetizers

  • 1.25 lbs. 570 g – grilled chicken breast strips (homemade BBQ leftovers is best)

  • 1 bunch – organic or homegrown green onion
  • 1 cup 237 ml – Homemade Alfredo Sauce
  • 8 oz. 225 g – Parmesan cheese
  • 2 – Baguettes
  1. Preheat oven to 350 F (180 C). Finely chop chicken, bacon, and transfer into a medium bowl. Cut green onion and add to the bowl. Finally, add warm Homemade Alfredo Sauce and mix well.
  2. Add a cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese, and mix it again.
  3. Cut Baguette into about 1/3 inch thick slices.
  4. Spread a heaping tablespoon spoon of chicken bacon mix onto each slice of bread and lay them out onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (for easy cleanup). Sprinkle each canapé with a pinch more of freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Bake for 25 minutes at 350 F (180 C).
  5. Cool for 5 - 10 minutes before serving.
