Separate, rinse and pat dry with a paper towel each Romaine lettuce leaf.
Cut Romaine lettuce and place into a large glass bowl. Then cut in half rinsed (and dried) grape tomatoes and add to the bowl. Add chives, sliced red onion, cooked, cooled and chopped bacon and chicken strips. (Tip: After I broil and remove bacon from the pan, I use the same pan with bacon oil to broil chicken strips on for a few minutes. It tastes so much better.) Finally, add freshly grated Romano cheese. (Tip: If you are not ready to serve the salad, cover the bowl with lid or plastic food wrap and place it in the fridge to preserve freshness.) This is a perfect make-ahead salad.
Drizzle with Homemade Caesar dressing.
Mix and serve immediately.
