Easy Marinated Mushrooms

Ingredients

– 4 lbs. – fresh mushroom (of your choice) – ▢2 cups – water – ▢½ cup – white vinegar – ▢½ cup – Olive oil – ▢1 tbsp. – sea salt – ▢¼ cup – sugar – ▢4 bay – leaves – ▢1 tsp. – peppercorns – ▢½ tsp. - crushed red pepper – ▢2 garlic - cloves – ▢1 – 2 tbsps. – freshly chopped dill

Step 1

Rinse preferred mushrooms under water to remove dirt. In a saucepan, combine olive oil, vinegar, garlic, salt, and optional herbs. Heat until salt dissolves. Pour the hot marinade over the mushrooms in a bowl. Cover and let it cool on the countertop. Once cooled, add freshly chopped dill and adjust seasoning.

Step 2

Cover and refrigerate for 12 hours to enhance flavors. Your marinated mushrooms are ready to enjoy, seasoned to perfection!
