4-Ingredient  Homemade Mayonnaise

This homemade mayonnaise recipe is creamy, easy-to-make, and will give you better flavors than store-bought mayo!


– 1 large – egg – ▢1 tsp. – salt – ▢1 tbsp. – freshly squeezed lemon juice – ▢1 cup – avocado or olive oil – ▢2 drops of freshly squeezed garlic juice (optional, but my preference)

Step 1

Place the egg, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and salt into a blender or food processor. Blend the ingredients together on low speed.

Step 2

While the blender is still running, slowly drizzle the vegetable oil into the blender.

Step 3

Keep blending until the mayonnaise has emulsified and thickened, which should take about 1-2 minutes. Once the mayonnaise is thick, turn off the blender and taste it.

Step 4

If needed, add additional salt or lemon juice to taste. Once the mayonnaise is at the desired flavor, pour it into a clean jar or container and store it in the refrigerator.
