Soft and Fluffy  Sweet Marbled Bread

Ingredients

Step 1

In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until the mixture becomes foamy. Add eggs, melted butter, salt, and flour to the yeast mixture and mix until it forms a smooth dough.

Step 2

Divide the dough into two equal portions. In a separate mixing bowl, combine cocoa powder and warm water to make a chocolate paste.

Step 3

Mix the chocolate paste into one of the dough portions until fully combined, creating a chocolate dough. On a floured surface, roll out each dough portion into a rectangle shape of the same size.

Step 4

Place the chocolate dough on top of the plain dough, and roll them up tightly together, starting from the short end of the rectangle.

Step 5

Place the rolled-up dough into a greased loaf pan, cover it with a towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until the dough doubles in size. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 6

Brush the top of the bread with a beaten egg and bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and cooked through.
