Carrot Cheese Spread with Smoked Salmon Appetizer

Ingredients

– 8 oz. (226 g) – wild smoked Salmon – ▢16 oz. (454 g) – cream cheese (softened) – ▢¼ cup (60 ml) – Greek yogurt plain – ▢¼ cup (60 ml) – homemade mayonnaise – ▢¼ tsp. (1.25 ml) – sea salt (or to taste) – ▢¼ tsp. (1.25) – black ground pepper (or to taste) – ▢¼ cup – organic dill – ▢½ cup – green onion (chopped) – ▢Decorative Ingredients: – ▢1 bunch – fresh organic parsley – ▢4 oz. 113 g – freshly grated cheddar cheese

Step 1

 In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded carrot, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Step 2

Lay out a large sheet of plastic wrap on a flat surface. Scoop the cheese mixture onto the center of the plastic wrap and shape it into a log. Roll up the plastic wrap around the cheese log, twisting the ends to seal it.

Step 3

Refrigerate the cheese log for at least 2 hours or until it's firm enough to slice. Remove the cheese log from the refrigerator and unwrap it. Place it on a serving plate.

Step 4

Arrange the smoked salmon slices on top of the cheese log. Serve the carrot cheese spread with the smoked salmon and toasted French bread slices.
